This beast would give Angilus a run for its money.

Considering they do play similar roles (first foe/later ally to the main monster), it would be a interesting fight. Thanks, Eric!

This...this I like!

If you're looking to spice up the design a bit, maybe make the spines an uneven length; it looks more natural and (hopefully) more visually interesting.

Thanks

Do you mean the ones on his head, body, or tail?

All of them, actually.

I could do that.

Ooh, how about some kind of newtonian basis for his armor? Blunt force trauma only makes his flesh become harder and tougher-maybe there could be physical clues to this, with scar tissue clumping together on struck areas, only to fall off once a battle is over.

Could you go into some more details on this concept?

Basically, whenever Brontosuchus gets hit by blunt impacts, the area of flesh that was hit stiffens and becomes more dense, greatly increasing his defensive capabilities. Stabbing him or slashing at him with something sharp would negate this defense, but putting too much force behind the strikes would contribute to his defenses again.

That actually sounds pretty good. Kind of like a helpful tense muscle.

I like the head design, but I think youre on the right track with a less spiky more armored tail.

Thanks! Yeah, that tail looks a bit busy.
